SSNW Adds Security Robot "Rudy" to its Services
Sequim, Wash. - March 8, 2024 - Visitors to the Security Services Northwest headquarters in Sequim, Wash., may see a new sight patrolling the area.
"Rudy" is an autonomous Security Robot (ASR) from Knightscope Inc. who patrols the Security Services Northwest and neighboring businesses.
The robot gets its name from one of SSNW's German shepherd dogs. Among its capabilities are thermal Imaging, real-time video monitoring, and recording, cell phone/WIFI detection, license plate recognition, radar, and two-way communications to include warning prompts that you are trespassing. It stands 5-and-a-half feet tall and weighs 400 pounds.
